The story was meh brinking on shit, the only real upside is the art, the okay smut and some cute parts. The flow of it is a complete mess, things happen so quickly but slow at the same time, characters have random fluctuations of emotions, the seme comes off as a prick at the start but kinda cools down, ig he’s suppose to be a tsundere (honesly his characters rising half bad). Uke is just dumb, he can’t really think for himself at all and his attachment to the manager feels ungrounded and not explored well at all. GOOD LORD THE MANAGER , he’s written off as scum and only scum for the pure sake of being scum, the author doesn’t even bother to show any reason as to why Uke would like him nor give him any redeeming feature other than his looks, highlighting the Ukes dumbassery, he literally left him to get absused but still defends him until someone has to STRAIGHT OUT TELL HIM TO QUIT, same thing with his confession (someone else always had to tell him everything, about the semes feelings and about his own feelings) As I read I thought the paceing and veryhtimg was getting better around the middle but it went straight to shit again. I’ve read worse. The best characters is the bar owner but even then he’s a stereotype (but I honesly don’t mind at all). Maybe I’m too harsh, there must be some people who liked it enough so that it has a 9 rating

Aside from little plot progressions (within pretty short chapters), the same interactions between the MCs have been going on for the last 5 chapters. Ik it’s cute and it shows how dependant he is on her but have many more times are we gonna see the “don’t leave me/ hate me” “I won’t (but I’m lying and only _whatever her name is_ can lift your curse), say that again and I’m gonna get mad” conversation.
Didn’t somewhere at the start it was mentioned that the person Blake originally wanted to marry was Diana but their father didn’t want to give her away so he ‘sacrificed’ his Ancia. Tho maybe the whole ‘wanting to marry Diana’ was in the original world/story after they grew up. I’m just tryna find a way to justify why she’s so hell bent on denying Blake’s feelings
Yea that’s what happened in the beginning, which is why Ancia believes he still likes Diana
