I spent a whole day catching up with this and wow I only started to read this because of a mean comment trashing the art style (which was exaggerating the art wasn't that bad) but while the first 30 chapters felt like forever the rest of the comic flew by and I was left in this cliffhanger. I love onyx he is an really good character, while I was a little pissed at how annoyingly dumb Keanie was on the first half of the plot. And the art? It was a little awkward at the beginning but I was extremely satisfied to see how it progressed through the chapters
For a second there I thought 'oh, are they lying? Are they a couple and that's why they aren't planning to marry? They gave 'two best friends who shared a house, a life and never married, such good friends' vibes
I'm just afraid that he has been lying to uke about being able to help his grandma?mom? The lady in the hospital, also I really hope that he will not just "drag him to hell" without talking to him

I could read another volume of them being disgustingly domestic and cat parenting

That's what I thought when I saw that too. In a scenario like that his neck has to break from the collar pulling on him. Not only that his head could even get torn off from the same reason :/.. either bro pulled some magical shit while saving him or it's just dumb logic
