i think there are many similarities, but there are also differences. actually i’m really glad that the story is focusing on the girl and how the MC is training her to become better rather than building his own strength. im really curious to see his battles, but i assume those will only happen in much later chapters :) just hope that there isn’t harem, although he doesn’t seem that interested in romance

So long as the writer remembers that a story without tension is boring, this should be interesting.

I watched an episode on hello counselour. The mom was 20 something and she is the height below her husband's armpit and looks like a middle schooler and people shamed and insult her for that. my issue is not that. i know that some people look younger and are smaller in stature than others, especially mostly japanese compared to foreigners. what i find weird and off-putting is how japan normalizes sexualising young girls and boys. it’s the whole pseudo-pedo culture. if you look at this manga in context of what’s happening in japan, it looks like a sick excuse for p*dophelia. personally, i am not comfortable with that. i don’t like how much the uke resembles a child and how the seme almost fetishized him. normal size differences are not like that.

even though senpai is an asshole, i think the reason he got so involved in tomoya’s business is because he saw himself in him and felt angry and heartbroken on his behalf. tomoya’s been suffering with unrequited feelings for years and senpai, who is gay, understands it the best how it is like to fall for a straight man. i don’t think the way he went about it was the best (forcefully kissing him etc) but i definitely can see his point of view
