I don't remember if it was included in the condition that she has to die by Killian's hands. But in every turn, Edith is executed by her husband, so it was sort of given that even in this turn the Duke will give Killian the right to execute her.

I thought the third condition was made that whenever MC was sentence to death by *anyone* she will accept it without struggling to stay alive.

MarineFord is a brutal arc, when I think about how Oda wasn't even planning on offing ACE but his editor(s) told him to do it for the story...ugh, Akainu was gonna d*e too but they said no, so he wanted to at least chop one of his arms off but they still refused, man Editors in their villain arc haha, though I understand it from their perspective, some other editors had to take some time off to cry though x)
