i have a problem with myungha being immersed in his sorrows and carrying burdens on his shoulders as if he's someone's hero and completely forgetting to consider the feelings of the ones around him and how impulsive jungwon tends to get when things get suffocating, see how going to a loan shark went through his mind at least 3 times since this marriage with mia thing started. i wanted to see them changing and getting better, because the way things are rn it just doesn't look like anything other than a toxic relationship. i can't get into it, they're so annoying to me +myungha is crazy, exposing your sick mother to a psychopath is he dumb i can't

i can't feel sorry for myungha he really does not deserve so much empathy from jungwon when he literally exposed him to traumatizing events when he could have just broken up normally. given to the nature of their job it'd be fine in normal circumstances, but he let that rag piss in his mouth and is probably marrying her for money he could've asked the bank like...? i know jungwon likes him and wants to genuinely help but that guy being so dumb for the sake of the plot makes me want to rip my eyes off lmao
also, main plot is going kinda good i want to see how this obvious set up plays out ngl at least no one is getting coarced into unwanted sexual acts it's just straight up anger and vengeance
and thought "omg i'm so dumb at least my boyfriend is not selling his soul to an evil woman gotta support him and be grateful"
are you saying Myung-ha is egotistic...?
he never considered asking his mom if she wanted to change treatments or keep going with chemo, cancer treatments are not easy, he never bothered talking things thru with his boyfriend before making decisions, they had a life together and he acted like that boy didn't matter...
his mother is dying. Mia isn't just dangling the new medication over his head, she's funding his mothers' treatment entirely. we only see her refuse the new treatment because she realizes something is awry, but he is still dependent on Mia financially and this is her bargaining chip
this is not ego; he is not thinking of himself in this. it's inconsiderate at worst but it is clearly just a child's desperation for their parent to live, as well as a poor mans plight against his circumstances
and how do you even expect that conversation to go? he clearly feels backed into a corner and is being taken advantage of both sexually and financially. she pissed in his mouth to scare Jung-Woo away bro, she calls him Myung-Ha's 'little boyfriend' and gives Myung-Ha an ultimatum, demanding they break up or else she'll stop paying for his mothers chemo. he's a possession to her. no shit he didn't try to 'talk things through'
I agree with everything. Myunghwa should’ve just broken it off with him tho for sure, that is all really. Right person maybe, but wrong time definitely! :(
What a wild take
he's an adult nevertheless, that's ego for thinking he's able to do everything on his own and take shit from that lady without trusting the ones who have been by his side in more intimate ways trying their best to help and support him more than a sadistic client who got the coin, i rest my case
that was me trying to lighten up the mood, myungha needs help but he needs to be able to learn on how to accept it asap you can't do everything on your own
you're actually retarded
Yeah no I was referring to your second comment, yeah Myung Ha is way too stubborn for his own good but that doesn't make him selfish. He thinks that he has to do this on his own because that's how it's always been for him ever since his mother fell sick, he doesn't want to burden anyone with this be it his mother or his ex boyfriend. And yes it might be stupid but calling him selfish is wild.
Also he knows the little Bro is just as broke as he is and he knew that if he told him about what he was doing, he would've tried to talk him out of it or done something reckless to help him, which is exactly what the little bro's doing btw so he wasn't entirely wrong, plus he was probably too ashamed and didn't want the man he loved to see him like that.
