Since when does a anybody have the right to refuse a marriage proposal from a king? And given the fact that he's been described as a tyrant, anybody would be afraid to refuse, because doing so would likely result in execution. This story is a bit inconsistent and I'm only on ch.7
By basing their relationship around money, he's actually keeping the kid at a distance. He knows quite a bit about the kid, and yet the kid barely knows anything about him. By going on like this, he remains the one in control. Perhaps he has a hard time with intimacy. He may seem warm, but I actually find him kinda cold.

Si-eon's previous, is the fact that Namwoo is actually a decent person. It was mentioned that Si-eon's past boyfriends were jerks & losers with bad intentions, so maybe things will go a bit differently in this case

Ibe is too dense, and this story has moved too slowly. I'm really tired of her referring to everybody as minor or main characters too. It's like, hello, this now your story idiot! I mean it all depends on your point of view.
