I also found it strange because usually the artist's choice would be to depict what seems to be a "rival" female character as very feminine and beautiful, to make the FL feel insecure in comparison, but the character design for Rosé seemed to be much more masculine than the FL's for some reason. I peaked at the ending of the novel and it seems like he and the FL also become very close

The FL is partly at fault too. The ML is actually a green flag at the beginning compared to other demon but she decieved him.
U need to get ur eyes check. ML was never a green flag what. The FL still doesn't remember her past life with him. In my view they both are red flags but he's way way way worse.
