The fact that I understand both sides just hurts more and pisses me off. On one hand, Kael just wants to put everything behind him with Diana and move on with the person he's come to love so dearly, but on the other hand, Hestia wants Diana to fall completely for the actions she'd done and what they caused. So Kael asking Hestia to move on from the revenge after so much work and prep does feel like the ultimate betrayal.
That being said, I agree with Kael just a tiny bit more. Why? Well, the whole situation with Diana is just tiring. She is stubborn and will not change, so her downfall is unavoidable, especially now that everything regarding the temple has come to light. Right now, they must focus on each other instead of the Prince and Princess.

As a novel reader, it’s frustrating because if she had just stopped and truly looked inward, if she had done some deep self-reflection and realised how flawed her thinking and actions were, everything could have changed. If she had dropped her pride and genuinely seen both sides of the story, she could have fallen to her knees before Kael, Hess, and her husband, not out of shame, but out of clarity. And in that moment, she might’ve finally found peace... maybe even happiness. Hess was ready to forgive her, to let it all go, but she clung to her stubborn pride and narrow views, and in the end, she chose misery.
All the drama aside I must say, Kael's crying face is something. DAMN. Just DAMN. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
