kahaku: *confesses his love to fushi and fushi rejected him and was so repulsed by this that he vomited, fushi had to ran away when kahaku was forcefully hugging him, admitted multiple times that he's only inlove with fushi as a girl and that fushi being in different forms means that he is on only "being tested", him talking about romance arc, killed fushi's comrades and blamed it on the knockers when he was aware of it*
readers: omg! he truly loved fushi : ( bring him black! > <
mizuha: *is literally innocent and she was only involved because the knocker influenced her, the knocker inside her body killed those people and she wasn't even conscious, originally liked someone else but because she ended up meeting fushi & falling inlove with him, literally a reincarnation of the hayase lineage but somehow everyone dislikes her when they're all literally the same, including hayase*
readers: she's ruining this story! god don't make this about romance!

lmao the same sex characters have more chemistry with each other than the main couple themself but eee-- im here for the main plot and not the romance, pretty good so far

YHAYS EHFJDKDNFJ thatās what Iām thinking too. I love Hak and Yona but all the pining and pretending not to like each other affects our perception of their relationship. Everyone else gets to interact normally without all this weird subtext and we can actually get to see their relationships grow but Hak and Yona only just now started developing more. Iām crossing my fingers for the storytelling because I love this manga so much and I believe in Author-San

No I get you Iām bi and the comp het is super real in shoujo, but I would rather be pleasantly surprised and not expect the relationships to actually be good lmao.
If you like this authorās style I would check out āGame X Rushā if you havenāt read it already. Itās a shorter story about 2 guys. Itās borderline gay baiting since they donāt actually get together but everyone else but then thinks they should date so thatās something lol.

I mean, Iāve seen more lesbian content catered toward men than lesbian women. Iāve also seen American TV shows that make the token āhot girlā bi or a lesbian for fan service (House MD Thirteen is an example) so it goes both ways.
I donāt think itās necessarily a bad thing. Iām probably biased since I do enjoy BL content, but I definitely understand the frustration.
I feel good amount of confusion for romantic pairings in media because most of the time it really doesnāt feel like they have any chemistry or interest in each other they are just near each other and end up together in the end.
I brought up a lot of different things here sorry lmao but I really enjoy discussing things like this and seeing how people feel about it.
i love these yuri compilations, cleansing my eyes from the world by reading pretty girls being with other pretty girls
