But the thing is that unlike Maya's dad Yamato's dad has no power over him, he can't throw him out since they don't live together and haven't done so for a long time now, he can't cut his living expense since Yamato works and lived thank to his aunt (who is pretty much his only family and probably won't interfere with Yamato's life now when he clearly never cared enough in the past).
Yamato isn't an heir either so I don't see what right he could have to interfere (he probably will but I can't see him having any impact on Yamato's decision)

Tbh I considered dropping it after the first few ch cuz it felt suffocating seeing their miscommunication and misunderstandings. Like I just want to pry their mouths open and make them just TALK if only for the sake of hearing words, ya know? But it's getting better so I'm ok for now. One can only stand so many unsaid words
