It doesn't get rapey. I completely understand why that would freak you out. Many yaoi mangas romanticize sexual and often physical abuse, so it's hard to find one that isn't, but this actually turned back pretty fast. No force or anything.
This started out so well but now I'm disappointed. Shige doesn't deserve Shin.

Ok yeah I get that shige is mad and things aren't going his way but.. it still doesnt excuse him being so rough w shin. This is starting to go the way Azami did and I don't want another repeat of Kan and Yumi's tragic relationship here. Shige better pull himself together and stop behaving so aggressively or he'll lose my support completely. At this point I have to be honest and say Tatara is looking better than Shige in terms of what he's doing for Shin. That doesn't excuse him if he tries to make a move on a taken man but I'd really rather not see Shige become violent. Hopefully I'm very wrong here and the next chapter clears everything up because god knows Shin can't live without Shige... but he's gna have to if their relationship becomes toxic.
To all the downvoters: no one should have to make excuses for their violent partner. It doesnt matter how much they love you or how much history you have together, as soon as they become a physical threat to you, you are no longer obligated to stay with them. That is the definition of toxic and abusive. Now, obviously circumstances out of one's control prevent people from leaving their violent partners but that doesn't make them guilty in any way for their situation. They shouldn't have to feel any guilt for their partner crossing a line. There shouldnt be any "it's because I cheated" "it's because he's stressed" going on. If shige ends up hurting shin, regardless of whether or not his actions were intentional, he will no longer have my support. He may seriously regret it and shin may forgive him for it (and that is between them) but I personally will not support shige without some shige undergoing some serious consequences or soul-searching.
