Emiliano is the one who started this. If he hadn’t left the pendant, Carcel wouldn’t even be going to Bilbao to find who is this man that a,most killed his wife.

He also knows Ines remembers him and that's why he left that necklace bc he wants to see her again but then he stopped after getting vision that she killed their baby. He's not innocent. He asked to keep memories to leave Ines alone but then when he got memories, he tried to meet her again.

Here, Chase isn't marked he can still do it with anyone. Yeah I know it’s the alpha that marked the omega. But I meant in the sense that sometimes in omegaverse some alpha reject other omegas & can only be with their marked omega. Sometimes it cuz they’re fated. Like in Kiss Me Liar, Keith couldn’t hook up with other people he tried but he wouldn’t get hard lol like their body subconsciously rejects others. I think his body is unconsciously noticing him, that’s why he asked the manger if they were all alphas/betas. When he jumped in the pool to save him I think he reacted to his pheromones a bit. i would have loved to seen when he gave him the ring, i could just picture him crying. would have been nice to see the college friends wedding, maybe them attending it together. would have love seeing them getting married, even if it was a private ceremony b/w them. their road trip would have also been cute to see. i would have loved to see more of uke being affectionate to seme, different dynamic. ugh i love this story so much. re-reading it for the 2nd or 3rd time
