I get that possessive ml is a popular trope but I find it sad. His only real connection is with the FL. No friends, no other people he genuinely likes, not even family. His motivations, actions, thoughts, etc are all influenced by his desire for the FL. Obviously this is fictional and people irl aren't like this but it's still sad. I feel if he wasn't so one dimensional I would actually like him. As it stands though he's just a one sentence character who could be replaced with literally anyone.

The story is all over the place. We got little in terms of the overall plot until halfway through and then everything was rushed at once. There were little connections and the transitions were handled poorly. The FLs main motivation literally disappears in chapter 1 and we don't hear about it again unless it's a throwaway comment. Not to mention the lost potential in these characters, especially the FL. Why is she Shakespeare?? She had the potion thing going and even made some very powerful and I assume never before seen potions. What happened to that? A lot of things such as characters and plot points are hastily and briefly introduced or completely swept under the rug and dug up again several chapters later when they need to progress the story. Overall a very messy read and I'm not even going to mention Felix literally changing skin tone when he merged with the devil, even though the devil didn't have dark skin himself.
It feels as if the author had more chapters in mind and started slow but for whatever reason changed their mind and decided to rush everything on the second half.
The saving grace for this manga is the relationship between the two leads. Their romance was handled pretty well in comparison to literally everything else and Felixs/ Lerrys character arc, even though small, was also done nicely.
Overall, 3/5 not overly offensive but it wasn't that good either.

so true, all the characters felt a little lifeless and I feel that has a lot to do w the story's repetitive issue of not expanding on things as they should. so many plot points feel like they just came out of the blue or just overall felt empty. for example, mc's whole family situation kinda got skipped over, we never see why or how the duke and constantine become the emperor's right hand men despite all of them supposedly being in love with claudia, we never even truly got to know the backstory of that rlly powerful elemental spirit guy and his island, the villainesses, and just so many other plot points that u also pointed out, such as her potion making, felix's skin darkening for no reason, and the mc changing her motivations constantly

I really like this manga but I feel it lost the plot a little bit. It had a fresh concept. The latest chapters are very tropey, with the mom pulling the classic 'break up with my son here's some money'. I also miss Kaorus more playful side from the first few chapters. All of that to say I still give this 5 stars it's a great manga and I love this creator. :)

I'm tired of this trope. When will mangakas learn that this is not a good setup #-.-)

Hmm... I get where you are coming from, but it is relatively inaccurate. Japan is a relatively small market. So, there are high incentives of targeting a global market. Big publishers do account for the "western audience"... especially in their end-month sales review. Your comment would make total sense in regard to Ch1n3se mobile game, when the CN market is always the priority.
Calisto reminds me of Sylus. Two great characters, both hunks ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Also somebody give my girl a Glock, she needs to be able to shoots idiots on the head
Both are my favorite character, right on Day 1 of their appearance (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Can you tell me who's sylus
i’m sorry for being uncultured but where is sylus from?
Sylus is from a game called Love and Deep space :)
i was literally thinking the same thing!! they have the same playful nature yet scary/serious side to them, also they're both very much "i love my wife, i will do anything for my wife" (⌒▽⌒)
ahhh alright, thanks
