I can confidently say I hate Brian. He treated Sol like some absolutely pure being that shouldn't have anything happen to him or around him ever and neglected his feelings for almost their entire relationship, then when he finally accepted him after sol GAVE UP BEING A GOD FOR HIM. He still decides to basically kill himself every time he has to do any work and gets angry that his lover is worried for his life and is now actively letting Lorkan hit on him and ignoring all the signs of obsession.
I just want Ian back bro, I hate that the entire world is forcing his past reincarnation on him while the author tries to pound sympathy for Brian into us with this entire season
I don't hate Brian, but I agree with everything in your last point. Sol might not believe it but he is treating Ian as Brian's replacement/stand in (and so is everyone else). There's learning about your past life/self but inheriting memories?!?! I can only imagine that doing such a thing would seriously harm or ERASE Ian. He has his own life NOW. These dragon brothers have been manipulating him back and forth. Ian somewhat called it out at the end of season 1. Everyone is only kind to him because they see Brian. That's it. I hope the relics that hold Brian's memory are destroyed at this rate. If Sol can't love Ian as Ian, he deserves to lose him forever!!!
