I find it kinda funny people are upset at people being upset about the art style change. ☠
Like cool you don’t care or somehow didn’t notice (it’s a pretty clear change, and not because the new one is “bad” it’s just clearly “different” but part of that might be because Thadd was pretty close to the original and new characters are obviously going to have no comparison) but even if you don’t mind the new style why get upset at people who are sad that the style went from unique and really good to something more generic? Just let them mourn the change they can be upset and you can be indifferent
Honestly the art isn’t HORRENDOUS. But it’s not as good as the original. And the original was unique. This is a change to a more common “anime” style and it’s just uglier than what we were used to. I don’t understand why so many art style changes are happening lately. It’s usually never better and always too different to just shrug off. It’s off putting when you get used the the characters being drawn a certain way.
I have been waiting for this to return. I now see it took so long because we had a change of artist. It’s not bad, and you could argue some aspects of the art improved but…I miss the old faces. All these new faces look too similar and honestly the Mac was better looking before and it’s all just kinda sad!
However I was into the story before so I will keep reading. (〜￣△￣)〜 I’ll just mourn my lost art style while doing it lol ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
