Also, I wish we saw a bit more of the ukes thoughts, but other than that DEF RECCOMEND. It’s basically pure fluff and a bit of sex for all the chapters. the art is so good, there were scenes that implied the most beautiful meaning but I really don’t know abt the uke…errr…I lowkey feel bad for the seme, he was patient asf dealing w the ukes homophobia(which uke never denied) and I relate a lot to the seme. And when uke overheard the tv, and ran to a cave, why did he not say anything and go back home after making the seme feel like shit…like what was the point of the uke traveling and nearly getting killed and raped just to turn his back? And Joon..don’t get me started on that mfer, rlly shows that horrible ppl still go along w their life w no justice to the victims. I get that the uke did it so seme wasn’t charged w false crimes but the hooking up and hitting the seme w a smack in the face w the wedding was bitchy. Yes, I understand he went through the trauma of being locked out of the world but AHH FUCK IDK I recommend this to ppl who wanna tweak out. “He’s too emotional” Maybe bc the dude is literally dealing w human lives and has a heart? This was introduced at the very beginning of the story, how could someone NOT pick that up. Also, the dude only cried when he lost a patient (or when it’s his fam) like what…and he only gets emotional when he struggles to heal the patient…are yall ok?
This targets real issues and emotions of a doctor, of course everyone is different but it brings a closer perspective to why the author made the character this way and why he’s the mc. Yes, ‘colder’ mcs are cool asf but when it comes to topics like this, it’s best to use your full heart.
It shows the horror, sadness, and joy of what it means to become a great doctor, AND what a doctor should be. Favorite thing abt this is that it showed the mcs mistakes, such as patients dying in his hands, and the way he studied his ass off despite inheriting memories, it’s just so real(?).
Though some of it may not be realistic, it’s still such a great story. I’m not familiar w medical terms so I can’t speak up on the issue. If you’re hating just say you don’t understand the story and drop it lmao it’s never that deep.
Not only that but can we talk abt how the author depicts the corruption in the Korean working system especially w the hierarchy of seniority and the way some of the higher ups literally didn't care abt the patients but rather their image and profit? I feel like it’s overlooked but it’s such a big part of the story.
And I can’t disagree w the art change bc it was a very drastic change, I even forgot some of the characters bc of how different they looked ngl and I suck at remembering names so this was lowkey a real struggle but I eventually got back on track.
As someone who aspires to become a doctor, this story literally has boosted my passion for it, and I hope it boosts others too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

This whole story is just beautiful, to the art, the characters, to their boundaries, the way they’re dealing w their own struggles and emotions, the way they deal w each other and their own personal identities holy guaco mole this is one of the best stories I’ve read this year.
