I don't know why they don't accept them anymore, but my card is a VISA debit card and still I managed to buy coins, maybe only some cards are banned, so you should try it either way.
Like Ivy, mine is a VISA debit card too, and I bought the coins 2 days ago (with that "first purchase=56 coins deal). So maybe you should try again until you make it. When I bought the chapter, I had to refresh the page a couple of times because Lezhin must have collapsed lmao.
If you want to use a debit card, then you have to use the PayPal option, even if you don't have a PayPal account. I bought my coins two days ago, and that's what it said to do when you read below the payment options. It's supposed to be more secure. You do NOT have to sign up for PayPal though.
