Okay, first of all, I am not buying Hajun's feelings for Minho for a second. You dont just get rejected by your ages-long crush and then go for the next guy who hugs you (especially the guy your crush rejected you for). A relationship like that is either revenge-fueled AF or just not gonna last.
Also, what does Minho see in Hajun? Can someone just definitively tell me? Because I have no cooking clue.
In fact, the only person in this whole story who had a believable and fleshed out reason for liking anybody was Sekyung and he did not get the guy he was going for. Sure he's a bit twisted but Minho inspired him to live a better life. To be kinder and fully develop his potential. That's why I dont get that his consolation relationship was him manipulating a guy into being his toy? That's the same relationship he had with Hajun. That is not a happy ending.
While we're on the topic, what does puppy boy (dont even remember his frickin' name) even see in Sekyung?

I kind of hate open endings. It's a cop-out. Finish your damn story.
If Nathaniel survived things could have gotten super interesting thoooo. Would Fabian buckle down on his obsessive and possessive love and Nathaniel would eventually have to break out or manipulate Fabian into releasing his family? Or would he learn some sort of lesson (this is obviously the cheesy ending) and after a long time of working things out in their relationship they could honestly build a healthy relationship (by the time they're 50 yeah but it could happen)
What about if Nathaniel died? There could be so many different ways to take that further. Fabian could repent and help Nathaniel's family. Or he could go legit mad and end up in a mental institution. Or he could go through a mixture of both where (after a loooot of therapy) he could possibly get to know Nathaniel's brother and they could develop a very drama-fueled relationship.
My only gripe with this honestly is that I just hate open endings (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I was not expecting to be so affected by Wen Rou and Cao Mang's story but I legit cried like a baby. Plus the Emperor and Liu Chengfeng are so absolutely wonderful together I could cry again. They're just a really great couple. Just super supportive and sweet and subtly affectionate I just ╥﹏╥
Plus I love how everyone lowkey just knows that they're practically married XD
