Honestly, I'm kind of surprised and glad the assistant character voiced this in the recent chapter. Wondering if ML is simply wrong, questioning why he'd even be suspicious of her. That was a bit refreshing I think.

I’m happy he won’t be struggling anymore since he’ll have money now but at the same time why does the ML always have to be rich. All of a sudden it’s revealed that he’s the son of a rich guy
Even if the mum has a new family she should have let her son into her home and inviting him in shouldn’t he putting her in a difficult situation he’s still her son. Just because you’ve started a new family it doesn’t mean that you can forget about your son and his needs.
