He also has that goblin language skill, I think he thought it would help him with that. But yeah, if you read the novel, Gongja deeply empathized with Goblins. Keep in mind his origins; he wasted 10 years as the lowest tier of hunter, and only finally awakened a skill because his heart was filled with envy.

while i've read the novel, there's still something exciting about seeing the scenes i imagined depicted for the first time.
i despise the ml, but tbh i also dislike the tatted guy. i already know it'll be some bullshit like
'omg wow i never saw him like that but now im sure it's fate!!!' like gtfo you literally don't care about him at all
