Ouuuf definitely a frustrating read, I really liked the art so I stayed but I don’t think this is something I can reread. Jaemin sucks ass and I think he deserves more punishment than just the loss of Daon, Soohyun and Sunghyeon were my favorites, I think they both deserved a lot better. Sunghyeon especially was so incredibly patient with Daon, the things love makes you tolerate is crazy lmao. As for Daon, I love him some moments, some moments not so much. While I understand his circumstances and how manipulated he was, it was hard to watch him make horrible decisions again and again

Ive never wanted to snatch an mc out of their own manhwa more than this one like jeez this man cannot catch a break
I read the raws and he doesnt even run away for that long
I was hoping the others would finally realize how much shit the mc went thru and regret everything for a long time, everyone in his life is so fucking inconsiderate..but damn these bitches dont know how to leave a mf alone.
Idk how mc didnt kill himself yet cus I probably wouldve a least 30 chapters ago.
Genuinely when I saw mf coming up the stairs with a dumbass grin I almost choked myself, and ofc it ends with sex when it should really shouldve just been a one sided boxing match (mc is the winner)

Hello I havent read this manga in long time but I saw a vid that made me suddenly curious about the character Ryuji/Yuka chan. Do they identify as transgender or are they a crossdresser? When I read this it was still pretty early on so I was unsure, idk if the manga has clarified it yet. Pls tell me anything about this character, like lore, any facts, etc, im really curious (the reason I’m asking instead of reading is this manga hit a bit too close to home I get too emotional lmao)

This is just my interpretation so please know I’m talking out of my ass. I think Yuka is a nonbinary man, kinda.
They don’t care about what labels are used on them and likes self-expressing femininely, but will state themselves as a man when getting more serious in a romantic relationship or when being flirted on by customers. However, a core part of Yuka is still their gender issues. During the trip with Yatora, Yuka admitted to liking a girl. This on itself just means Yuka is bi, but the way this scene played out and how Yuka talked about their crush told me that they wanted to be transgender. Although Yuka presents themselves so freely on the surface, they hold internalized sexism believing they need to act in-line with stereotypes if they’re gonna be a certain way. Their crush on her made them feel and see different from the way they usually present themselves. And so that stereotype Yuka found comfort in couldn’t be them anymore.
Yuka already understands this best though, they know they shouldn’t need to find comfort in stereotypes and just be themselves. They know that, yet when loved ones like their grandmother enforce gender ideas onto them, it stings.
I think ultimately Yuka’s gender identity isn’t clear because even Yuka isn’t certain. They have had gender dysphoria that relates them to the trans experience, but they aren’t transgender. Might be totally debunked in the end, but this is one interpretation of Yuka that I hope makes a little sense.
Ian is so gorgeous omg. And the heels???? he deserves to be treated like a king
