I agree that it was a bit fast paced but tbh, I enjoyed reading this, it was interesting and very heartbreaking lol, I wish there were side stories of them being happy and all. I also think professor didnt get punished enough at allll, all I can do is hope he lives with guilt for the rest of his life

People have been re-reading this for the nth time for a reason. The first chapters might be frustrating but you just need to go through it cause the chasing arc and ending was definitely satisfying. As for the 2nd hand embarrassment ify lol just laugh it off cause there's more to come

Im rereading it for idk how many times ive lost count but i feel the second hand embarrassment no matter how many times i reread it so i just skip those chapters completely. But it gets better and keep you coming back for more
