I know this is a stupid thing to complain about, but I wish manhwa art styles looked half as good as the cover. I'm not talking about the rendering, the shading or the details (though I've seen artists accomplish those), but about the proportions and faces. Like when I'm notified this updated, the first thing I see is this charming picture of a enigmatic yet cute noble lady and then I open the chapter and they all look like the most generic nothing characters.
I get what you mean... the cover illustrations tend a bit more to realistic style than full comic... those are usually the novel covers. And while I agree that it looks a hundred times better... it's also harder to draw and takes more time... If with a 1 chapter per week pace we take a couple yeard to finish a comic based in novel... imagine with such detailed art style?
On that note... Lord of Mysteries is getting a remake on this more realistic style... so check it out, you might like it.

I find the sex scenes extremely sexless in a weird way. Idk why, I do find the characters hot when they're serious or intense about something, but when they're naked and fucking, it's like watching a piece of ham being slapped around. Guess it's either the art style or how they're both extremely muscular yet hairless haha.

Its cuz they havent connected mind body and soul AND heart. If you check author's previous work Full Volume, the sex scenes work when the peepo are obsessed with each other.
The sex scene weve witnessed here was mindlessly intense but it lacks passion and love. Its an intense need to treat an animalistic aching, its focused on mating and populating, not sensuality and the need to pleasure a beloved and reach orgasm together. Basically: mindless, animalistic and still needs a lil cooking between god and his sacrifice (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I don't think it's a bad thing, because it's not like it's shallow. It really explores his perspective, how he became that way and how it impacts others in his life. It makes the characters feel more like people.
My point is that if a reader just wants to see two hot dudes kiss with no issues whatsoever, then go read thaaaat. His issues aren't a fault, they're a feature!

Yeah, no.. no woman would willingly make a character that’s got the mentality of a child the art might’ve been done by a woman, but this story is screaming man. Like the witch is cute as hell don’t get me wrong, but it’s sad she’s so brainless
