i have a bit of a hot take on all this. i will say i dont particularly feel as if shuri should get with any love interests, but in comparison to nora i like jeremy's relationship with her a bit more. NOT ROMANTICALLY SPEAKING, but i feel like their chemistry is more natural to me. i also say this as someone who reads this story w/o a care about the romance so i look at the relationships a bit differently. i mostly root for nora because i want to see shuri happy, not because i like nora's relationship with her
Honestly, there are many fans that ship Jeremy and shuri but since Shuri is happy with Nora, personally I'm happy with Nora too.
This could also be because there hasn't yet been a deep interaction between Nora and Shuri, hopefully we'll get them in the future.
i too think the chemistry between her and jeremy is really charming, i like her romantic relationship with nora too but i love how complex and ambiguous jeremy's feelings are, truly my favourite character.
anyone who read the novel can spoil me on whether anyone beside the cardinal found out abt shuri's past life? curious to see how they'd react to it, tho i suppose now it's more of a footnote to shuri than to be something worth bringing up
