It's not rape, and the seme is an asshole. Reading this hurt my feelings, and I'm not even a character. But. What happened was, the seme saw a porn video of the MC masturbating with the butt plug, and then decided "ah, fuck waiting for this doll (as in a possession, a toy), I'll just stop by and take his ass" (me, paraphrasing). So, he gets to the MCs house, and the friend of the mc— the one that shoots the porn — answers the door and he's kinda jealous or whatever. Anyway, they go outside to "talk" and the seme is like " I saw the video". And the mc is shook, and blushes, and goes "...you..saw?"
And the Seme goes, basically, "I saw it, its trash". And, then he grabs his ass and is like, basically, "we can have sex right here, eight now...if you dont want it, say it." And the MC thinks, "I do want this. Ever since the hotel, this has been all I've been thinking about. But, something feels off..." so, he agrees and they have sex. Or, well, he gets treated like a cum rag. The mc hated to admit it, but he expected something...kinda loving, and what he got was rough sex in an alleyway where he didnt even get to cum. And to add the cherry on top, the seme tucks his dick back into his pants and goes:
"I like you, you're pretty, You have talent. Work for me. I'll take care of you. And it's better than making such cheap videos. "
I was shook, and so was the mc. Then the asshole Seme pulls out a shit ton of cash and goes " this is your payment for today."
Our MC is SPEECHLESS, and so am I. Then the seme continues like, "come. I'll take you back."
And here is where we get to the indignant, teary eyed glare that has everybody reading the raws without context thinking its rape. The mc is like he doesnt want to do that job, and he'll take himself back. Tears just POURING from his eyes. And the MC is full of regret, thinking to himself "foolish, fucking dumbass, why did you make this mistake?"
And then thinks, "If you're looking for a sex partner, you should not have confused me, you fucker."
But above all else, the main character is crying because he thought it was more of a love affair, than what it was. And he realized afterward, with a broken heart, that he liked him. He felt as stupid as his feelings for the seme.
And then he realized that it was what the Seme was good at, creating feelings from nothing.
Anyway, 2 days go by, and the mc starts thinking about his debt, how much he works and still makes nothing. How hard it is to live. And then the Seme comes back to apologize for what happened (mc is angry, but he's nonchalant so its whatever), and asks the mc to be his personal treasure, and be by his side.
Then the mc realizes that was his plan all along. Then he goes, "what if I dont want to work in your shop?"
Ofc the seme goes, "why?"
And then the Uke kisses him (yes, the kiss yall are complaining about) and then stops and goes, "because I like you. I dont know if you understand, you bastard. But if I have a lover, I dont want be his posession."
The seme is shook, though idk how his manipulative ass managed that emotion.
Then the Uke goes. "Bye. I hope you die in an accident."
Lmao honestly thoug, this is really Walk on Water: Dark edition. The seme is an asshole, but the Uke is smitten, and they have their cute moments. Lmfao, I cant wait until people read the scene where the Seme was like.....
"Do you know how happy I was that you confessed, kissed, and then fled? I masturbated to the thought of it al night."
Anyway, should be a fun, dramatic read.

Well, in chapter 20 or whatever (I dont remember, either 20 or 19) the seme tells the mc that he loves him and they have sex (for a loooooooong ass time, too) but I honestly cant tell if he's being disingenuous or not. Either way, it was cute. Let's just hope he's being genuine about it.
Ye, Idk if mc could survive if he just played with his feels again.

It will not happen, and the fact that everybody hates the prince for something an alternate version of himself did is ridiculous. Give the new character a chance. Also, of course he's curious as to why she seemingly hates him for no reason (to him) but knows everything he likes? Would you not be if you met someone like that in real life?? At least he read her letter with an open mind and decided to leave because he recognized that was what was best for her.
I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll deal with that. He is still better than the green haired kid, in my opinion. (Nobody can top my fave redhead though, but I think we all know she's gonna end up with the prince. Everybody was saying spoilers and shit, so sit back and enjoy the ride).
this is it. you state what's on my mind. I do really hate the past timeline Prince, but not yet in this present time.
You are optimistic to a fault. Just because its in different timelines it doesnt mean theyre two different people. You can clearly see his jealousy right from the very beginning you can also see his obsession to know why tias so scared of him. Hes just an overall trashy person.
And knowing what he liked happened at the end after everything he did already. But I bet the authors gonna make it some cliche bullshit with prince having a change of heart.
Lmao you're reaching. What obsession with figuring out why Tia was so scared of him? As far as HE KNEW he did nothing to her and had been nothing but cordial to her, so of course he would wander why she was so terrified of him for no apparent reason. It's a natural reaction, I would do the same. And it is a different timeline, hes not even doing the same things he did in the past and neither is Tia. Infact, you can argue that side by side the Tia from then and the Tia from now are different people.
Even later in the chapters of the manga (around the 70s or 80s I think, cant remember but I was reading them yesterday) Tia will think to herself "...he would have never done this in the past, maybe he has changed" and her feelings about that past change and she willingly spends her day off with him, in his office, trying to help him.
Not quoting this word for word, but that's what it said essentially.
So, I hate to break it to you, but to hold him accountable for things this new version if himself has not done is harsh, especially when the character is not inherently evil in this moment. In other time travel books, i could why everybody hates them (they are evil in the past and in the present). But that's not the same. He isnt that version of himself, and that is why the author is comfortable with making them end up together.
On the bright side, they're older in those chapters I mentioned so they're all fucking great (even allendis looks and acts not as creepy) and she's working alongside my fave redhead (and still the fiancee of the prince).
Stop reading at chapter 6, everybody else says it ends in a cliffhanger (and has been that way since 2011), and chapter 6 is such a sweet ending. I havent even been tempted to check out the last 2 chapters.
From the spoilers I've been reading, this manga is tiptoeing on it. But, I'll still read it. Atleast until it gets too ridiculous.
