Spoilers letting me know ML gets away with everything and MC never finds out ML is lying to him and really is the monster from his past life. It really bothers me when authors set up the most toxic, evil ML to triumph against the MC. Like what’s the point of us following the MC then? What’s the point of the story, evil always wins?

I’m so tired of the “killing a mass murderer is bad” trope so many stories push. Like I get her not wanting to be a murderer BUT. He kills people all the time for pleasure, it’s implied he killed her friend. Letting him go means he’s going to continue to kill and continue to take enjoyment from it. I know it’s not fair but from here on out I place a little blame on the FL for every single victim he kills. She had the opportunity to stop him but chose her “moral high ground” over the lives of likely hundreds, if not thousands.

Can someone please comment when the seme gets his comeuppance, or a chasing arc begins, alternatively if the uke just forgives the seme for how horribly he’s been treated bc he randomly starts being almost nice (what usually happens). Because if the latter happens I won’t see the point of picking this back up. So far it’s just the uke suffering for suffering’s sake.
So he at least somewhat understood his mother was abusing his wife and did nothing about it? He really thought he could get her love with money and the bare minimum. The only thing he did was not treat her like trash. Not like he went out of his way with the wooing. He just hoped time and proximity would have her falling into his arms. All the while leaving her to suffer at the hands of his mother. Hopefully the divorce is a wake up call to him. Only hope I have for the story rn is that FL let’s the mother in law have it.
