But it’s like the rpe happens, characters move on and ignore how serious it is.
But then I was let down by this being an older MC but them just having the most stereotypical uke personality and level of maturity. Boring characterizations. Like in all those years he made 0 contingency plans or political connections? Waste of setting. This could take place in the modern world with a wealthy young master and NOTHING would change.

In-Seob might be the most pathetic uke I’ve ever read, and I’ve read Okane ga Nai. How does Ayase have more of a spine? Like this plot only works bc the author gave Seob the emotional memory of a half-dead goldfish. He’s inconsistent between chapters.
He feels like a broken man. He’s just resigned to his fate, not happy but too used to his majesty to be truly miserable anymore. I hope he tries to leave again or at least makes ML suffer literally any kind of consequence, but there might not be enough will inside MC left to care.
