Okay guys I know that we all are having a hard time gendering Éliane and Nise, and it's justified since the art makes them seems so feminine and the translation was mixing up the pronouns every now and then.
So here's the thing after analyzing the chapters ( jk I just searched up online) we can say confidently that Elaine is a male so he goes by he/his.
As for Nise from the last chapter we can understand she's a male even though she's dressed as a female (? That's open to whole another theory) so even our fl think Elaine is a girl but here's the twist I think!

I think it’s pretty implied that Nise is prob male. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something the other devs changed or made a secret for the players to find out and just negligently did not tell her and thought it wasn’t important LOL they are a lot less stressed about it than MC

Personally I was thinking that it was a secret that even the devs didn't knew, like they can't control every aspect of the game. Because I don't think it's logic to introduce Nise as the fl ( in the game) when they are making a BL yk.

Nope, she's female. Just dressed as a male, the only female that should have the right to be close with the pope is the saintess..a female supposedly. So basically the Pope and his twin sister agreed to hide her gender, but from what we know according to Our FL she (Nise) will soon be found to be the real stainless. Hope you guys understand

Yes in line with the comment above. I think that's going to be the twist... the church doesn't want a male saintess they want the stereotypical pretty, comforting female. So they are using Nise's sister as the face of the saintess while Nise powers her from the background. That's just a theory. But yeah Nise is male... that's why Elaine was saying he didn't need to leave for bathing but Shari did.
Elaine is a boy, and the MC knew since the beginning, the translation just made a mistake in his pronouns, while Nise in the other hand, is referred as a girl (except by his sister), he purposely hides his gender, it's not a mistranslation.

But the brother (Elaine) also has healing powers but not as strong and his look much 'prettier' and 'Saint' like. Either way he had to reverse the twins genders cuz he wants a Saintess, I.E a female and not a male healer. If there was a strong male healer who was blessed then the Pope would feel his position is in danger. That's why he whips Nise and uses psychological ways to harm Nise. Nise always says, "it's my fault". She's been gaslighted, maybe she doesn't even know she's a girl. Seems like she believes she's a guy. Gaslighted real bad.

Elaine (male) is the elf character from the slave trading. Nise (male) is the brother with saintess powers. Liv (female) is the sister pretending to the be saintess.
Nise is male. But is being referred to as female. But Elaine (male) told us that Nise is male. So not being gaslit to believe he's not a guy... he's being made to pretend that he's not male.
