The plotline was so good? And for once a yakuza who didn't use force or blackmail to get the uke (I know there are a few others like him lol). We love consent in this household! Ngl the fake kidnapping kinda threw me off but it was his boss's idea and not his so I cut him some slack. Also based on the extra and especially the last page "Their distance remains" we can see that they still got a long way to find love but they are on the right path! I just hope that we could get a second volume so that I could experience their "journey of finding love".
Ngl though, it could be better if there were more chapters lol Btw I think it would be also interesting if the story went like the friend introducing them and him falling for the blond guy in the end and the blond guy changing his ways and fall hard for him as well and settle down. Meanwhile his frivolous and naive friend (also his first love lol) gets with one of blonde's friends since he was still looking for a sex friend and maybe future lover lol I think it would be more "twisty" that way lmao Btw does anyone know stories like this?
The Seme is really forcefull, jealous and selfish for my taste... Also I hate it how the molesting of the uke was not dealed properly, just the Seme acting a bit nice and the victim even feeling remorsefull about it and poof problem solved. So yeah... If you think carefully about it this plot turns kinda dark. Also the 10+ age difference with the uke being only 18 didn't help either... Not to mention that the uke was more of an adult than the Seme (and by that I am not referring to him leaving the water bottle out or throwing his clothes around the room lol).

Now their relationship is all fluff and stuff but the fact that the Seme cornered him in the beggining and got the uke to sleep with him as a term of their "contract" just doesn't sit well with me... Also the denial was strong and realistic at the beggining but then suddenly (at least for me it was too drastic especially for a relationship who started that way and for a guy who used to be a homophobe) he starts falling for him...I mean I personally can't Imagine myself falling for someone who would take advantage of my weaknesses in order to have sex with me... I think he is just a descendant because Su Luxia didn't have a biological child in the first story that is why she adopted him.
Pretty sure he was son of another consort of the emperor. She wasnt fortunate to have children and when he died, she just adopted a motherless prince to raise. It's pretty common

The current timeline is 6years after the death of the Empress Dowager. He is the same child she raised as the Empress. Plus in the new update it did say its a new self deduced story line. So its a new time line. Yes, they're half-siblings. Normal di-shu children fights. Half-sibling is jealous of everything of the di- child has. Wants her dead, so she can replace her to become the empress (she has a high-chance).
I did see the raws few days ago. They met the young emperor and the Empress (mc) in an outing when the girls were still young, I think, the half-sibling was amazed by her, she's beautiful. Especially in red. That's probably what lead her to this ambition to replace her sister. Also how held the red fabric, how she dressed in red and had make up similar to the Empress Dowager when she went to meet the Emperor, SHE wants to become Su Luxia.(this is just my guess anwyays). ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The emperor and the current Su Luxia are not blood related so no incest here. Also my guess is that the current emperor has a mother complex. He saw Su Luxia(empress) cry once when he was child and that probably struck him. They bonded a mother-son relationship and this is probably what led to his death in the first time line when he died few days after her.

Actually I remember reading that in the first arc, the original host of the body SL took over had suffered an accident earlier while trying to save the emperor and because of that accident, she became unable to produce any children and so when Su Luxia takes over the body, she takes advantage of the emperor's promise that he will let her adopt any child she desires and so Su Luxia decided to adopt the little blue haired kid who was the son of another consort who had died for some reason. Because of that he was often bullied and not given proper food by the servants. But then after Su luxia adopts him she takes care of him and teaches and gets him ready to be the next emperor
In the first chapter of this current arc they scanlators said they made a mistake in the translation of cpt 20 when they said Su luxia's step son(the current emperor died). It said that soon after the death of Luxia he also died. In reality, he tried to commit suicide multiple times to follow her but was never successful. That's why he's still alive.

I think they do go out. I haven't read the raws myself but considering the close relationship they had before I'm going to assume that he falls in love with her since she's so similar to his adoptive mother. Considering that he wanted to commit suicide when she died I think he held some strong feelings towards her and wouldn't mind marrying someone who was just like her. I think of Luxia as a spirit of some sorts and they're not related by blood so I'm not too weirded out. It doesn't seem like Luxia herself really falls in love with her capture targets either tbh.
I liked how it was an open ending giving Wonho different options with the possibity of breaking free from the past *cough* the Ceo *cough* . Now it just turned into the "falling for the sponsor/rapist" kind of story which is honestly pretty unrealistic to me. Ofc they are both assholes for different reasons but Wonho got the Karma he deserved meanwhile the Ceo got nothing and after a bit of "Sorry" talk he is still next to Wonho idk it doesn't seat that well with me ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
