But when the mc is actually using his brain, is manipulative, is cunning, is using their pretty privilege (whatever you call that), is using the available resources that they can use these readers are still devaluing them as a mare victim that can't do anything about their situation just because mc felt certain emotions or cuz their methods are not like the other typical methods that they don't have to sacrifice a piece of themselves. They always criticized the tropes of the story, to be fair I understand but please give some appreciation about the other aspects of the story, like how complex the character is, the plot progression, the events.
