this is the freaky version of reinhardt whom valetta slept with in her dream right, but it was reality for the AU reinhardt. It just dawned on me and damn, even tho they're technically the same person but its kind of insane that main story valetta got with AU reinhardt before she got with the main story reinhardt. Not that I mind, it flowed wonderfully with the main story and good way to initiate the AUs since regardless they're all the same people just different versions.

People saying its an open ending are very confused. Its very conclusive. She's never going to turn into a vampire and he's going to die when she does as a human. Chapter 202, he made a promise. To only ever drink her blood after she said she'd die as a human. Meaning when she dies, he's never going to drink anyone else's blood because that's what he promised, and as mentioned in the story quite alot, vampires make a promise on their life, meaning if he breaks the promise, he dies. Either way, if she chooses to live as a human (which is pretty conclusive considering the ending) he'll die with her since he can only drink her blood, but in case she decides to change her mind, she can turn into a vampire and they're still together forever, either way, their ending is them spending the rest of their lives together to the final breath they take. The fact that this isn't even my theory but what the story said, its a beautiful ending. just wanted to rant because I love when authors generate a story not through a solidified panel but simplistic dialogues consistently from start to finish.

yes I actually forgot but the intention was still 100% there regardless, if she'd accepted the promise then the oath was made and her not accepting it was because she trusted him to follow through "drinking only her blood=staying loyal to her forever" without having a promise binding him so yeah, their end is the same (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Guys the age gap in this is done so beautifully. I know 4 years is barely an age gap especially when you're 20 and 24 (or legally 18 and 22) but when I first read the description it bothered me personally that they met when they were 16 and 20 (or again, legally, 14 and 18) so I decided to read the novel. And no, this shit was done in such a pure way, such a beautifully significant way that even real life can't beat how well done their relationship was. Their ages played such a significant yet pure role. Please dont scroll any further if u don't want to actually get spoiled.
The way dohyun fell in love with wooyeon when he used to tutor him was absolutely beautiful. And the best part was that it wasn't romantic since he specified it himself, he was so in love to the point he was worried he'd lose the persona he'd made due to being an orphan and having received no love but it wasn't romantic, not until he met him again in university and those feelings turned from platonic affection to romantic affection. The parallel between him and wooyeon is so good too. Wooyeon having feelings of admiration for his tutor at the start and then those slowly turned in romantic love. Both of them looking and admiring eachother as a mirage. Their relationship going beyond simply romance when they confessed, it wasn't just all romance or sexual, it was normal affection as two people, normal comfort and warmth they found in eachother as two friends. I adore, ADORE this series and I binge read the novel in one night, it was so pure, I specifically mentioned the age gap because it played a huge role without being creepy or even close to being weird. Their relationship trespasses simple affection and admiration but defines itself around every sort of feelings possible and I love them. Plus dohyun is NOT a red flag. Thankyou for reading my rant, I know weird but I really really needed to explain how much I loved this. if u need the link of the novel please don't hesitate to ask. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I'm so confused, I love rina and minwoo but was minwoo also able to leave for the real world? considering the story did say that they all left or something? or are both rina and minwoo still in the novel world? and only jinyoung (i forgot the name I think but the brown haired dude) left for the real world?
Edit: nevermind I think in the authors note it said everyone left the world although it took some time but the green haired girly was transferred to another story instead of moving to the real world ig? idk if I got it right

you're right! my interpretation is in the ending scene she talks about how you'll meet people that you never expected to see again and the laptop shows jihyeons song indicting the people sitting at that table were her friends from the story. it also mentions in the epilogue mihuis family IN the real world and how they don't remember the novel and only mihui does supporting the fact they all are in the real world. green haired girl is in a story made by the group in which she made a deal with the devil to get out of to reunite with the rest of the group (finally understanding they truly did care about her).
I genuinely fucking hate them, only they are to blame for this and now this hazel bitch
