So messed up I just look at seemingly sweet and happy times with bitterness, thinking "when will it go side ways?". It was too wrong to become right, eventhough there was love at the very start during school. Sad, dark and kind of unnerving
I really don't get any "walk on water" feeling here. Mc Queen would lay things clearly to get a consent and keep his word about what's going to happen. The guy here took advantage of the boy.

it's not supposed to be. the man isn't the owner of a porn company, he owns a brothel (which is also probably run by gangsters given the fact that MC described his group as rather a band of thugs). MC also needs money desperately and that man is his "boss" so he technically can't ignore him either.
Yes I agree. I read the comments before reading the comic and saw many comparisons to "walk on water" which I realised weren't accurate after I actually read it. Hense what I commented.
It was about making sex industry glamorous and sexy when in fact it's not, it's shady and dark.
The 2 stories are different but have one common point : both ukes became sex workers because of money, they wouldn't resort to pornography or prostitution otherwise.

One thing I really love about this author's characters is that they are usually very sincere with each other. There are useless dramas or misunderstandings, just the ones you would see in real life. They are likable, relatable and heartwarming.

This author is just amazing. The dialogues, emotions and pace are so realistic, it's like true slices of people's lives. I love all her work ! It's refreshing and you can actually relate to the characters, even the side ones. The stories are pure gifts. Haaa I feel great after reading them â•®(￣▽￣)â•

Though I was sad to switch to the english names. They seemed fake to me
