The summary makes the story sound sweeter than it actually is, It’s literally your typical black flag, abusive or manipulative seme and unsuspecting uke who gets tangled up in seme bs!! For about 90% of the story until some sorry ass redemption arc. When his just trying to make a better life for himself. The MC dead fathers friend….he his the best surrogate dad for our MC he stands up to the ML and threatens him and makes it so that the ML never gets the opportunity or chance to play with MC heart. His the MVP. The MC i like his character he isn’t just a 2d character with no personality just there as cannon fodder to get abused and BL sex scenes, but apart from that honestly if you have read a rich powerful ML with a poor struggling MC plot before this won’t be particularly interesting or original, yeah the ML is a child soldier who was abused and wasn’t raised to know love but survival blah blah but honestly its just another spin of the same ole same ole.

Anyway i loved the authors previous works and the story telling was refreshing and nice but with this one I don’t think the author really knew how to make their relationship work. I mean it’s admirable having a ML with some sort neurodivergence but i mean it doesn’t really work because they made the MC to immature. The relationship is a bust and goes around in circles its cringey reading them at this point.
