The novel is better in a sense because the characters' povs are in more details...but, the novel itself is badly translated and the grammatical errors can make it somewhat a cringing experience. I just wished the was a better translated version to make the reading more enjoyable.
Happiness is floating around~ I love Siwon Sunbae and I also want him to be happy too. And um, Salix is not an entirely bad guy. He's just a guy who takes his job seriously and a bit stubborn.. I think he truly believes he's doing what is right....anyways, I don't wanna dive further into character analysis. But, is it too much to ask if Salix and Siwon sunbae have a faithful encounter and also end up together? I just ship them in a weird way, because I think Salix could use some of Siwon sunbae's kindness overload. That is, once all the drama between Lotus, Salix and Earth invasion is settled.
But, no matter how much of a dick someone is, they DON'T deserve to be tortured and murdered by a fucking psychopath. Some people who are saying "make him suffer", you're coming across just as bad. I know this is fiction and yeah he's a user and goldigger, regardless it's not a reason to abandon your humanity and be happy he's at the mercy of a deranged murderer.
