I'm so slow, I just realized it might be inspired by Wuthering Hights... Not completely, of course, but the area, the family (a bit), and most importantly, how both mcs feel like they "share one soul".
I was thinking the same about the obsession and dynamics between ml and fl, although I went one step further thinking how great the classical romance literature has been and how sappy, shallow, and predictable nowadays romance stories are. It made me lose a bit of respect for myself hanging around here instead of picking up books worth their salt. It made me depressed ╥﹏╥
Hey, I feel you. Although, I went backwards - I was wondering if reading all these cliché webtoons is the same as reading cheap modern romances. Then I remembered what a joy it is to read the classical romance literature and how different it was. And I immediately went to read (and re-read) a bunch, including Wuthering Heights, and so I made a connection. Let's enjoy classics!

That's too... I still want to believe in the author. Sure, sometimes all we need is fluff... But if everything is logical and well-written, I'm not against angst either..
I don't know how relevant it is, but kinda reminds me how nowadays you can't like an evil character or a "toxic" story, because "it's bad influence" or whatever. But sometimes it's just complexity. It's more interesting to watch a "bad person" change...
The og series didn't have any real conflict. It was just work. There ought to be some conflict.

It's one of these rare manhwas where the ML has white hair, is elegant, calm and soft, maybe kinda sly and definitely smart. And also kind-hearted. Bless this story and their future romance.
