Thanks to the f-king God. The brother didn't die. But I suspect the lawyer will try to kill him in some way. Because as long as the brother is alive, MC isn't gonna surrender her to him. Hopefully, the detective will expose the lawyer ass before that.
no im sure the lawyer will not kill him. at least not yet. he will use the comatose brother as a way to tether MC to him. remember the reason why he became obsessed with MC in the first place? it started when he saw MC's crying face. he likes the MC when she feels helpless, and he wants to "own" the MC despair who's completely dependent on him. also, if things go south for him (aka the MC will go against him) he will use the brother as hostage.

The lawyer definitely wanted him to take his own life but he survived although now he is in a coma. Which works for him either way, I guess.
What the hell? ML didn't regret for even 2 chapters and MC is already a lovesick boy. And now they are all lovey-dovey. And why are the panels and chapters so chopped? In one chapter MC and ML were making love and in the next chapter, MC is trapped by the doctor? It has so much potential in the beginning but it is completely ruined now.
I missed them so much. The author's other work didn't work for me.
