The mother is definitely trash. She has her nerve trying to act all motherly as if she is doing anything in the best interest of Soohassi, when in fact he has been nothing but an eye sore for her life this whole time. Hence the reason why she wantsto get rid of him and one of the options is a mental institution. Smdh. Haeyoung hasn't and doesn't even have a qualifying relationship with Soohassi to make any decisions for his life in all honesty so no one have any room to judge the approriate/inappropriateness of the relationship especially when there is no blood involved and hasn't been any familiar ties until recently and only because she felt forced.
Sorry Soobin but you would have had a leg to stand on IF they, had a drop of blood to connect them or had of been raised as family and/or he had of been recognized as family via the family register. But none of those apply here.

Honestly, the whole story is pretty messed up. But I specially hate hypocrites like the mom. She left her child behind with the father, who was clearly mentally unstable. Then she pawned him off on a step brother she clearly can't stand. And also, who thinks it's a good idea to leave an omega with an alpha who doesn't share a drop of blood with them!? It's like taking a chicken into a Fox's den! Then once she realized her mistake, she tried to blame the fox and now wants to put the chicken in a mental institution!
