I don't feel like it's gonna be full angst in the coming chapters. If anything that's going to create drift between them is their surroundings but I've two theories why everyone is on their toes.
1) The colour palette is on the cooler side rather than warmer. The darker tones which we usually see and use in psychological manhwas. That's why, I think, it's giving people anxiety.
2) My second theory is that we shifted from seeing Luke's POV to Andrew's POV. For a while, we've been seeing the story from Andrew's perspective. We do get what Luke is thinking but in glimpses.

What the hell is happening? Did Aoki senpai really sleep with someone after getting drunk? Or that's the flashback scene where he grape his senpai or maybe found him in that state and was blaming himself for all that. I think, that's why he looks so depressed and don't want to get involved with Haruta.
BINGO! the second theory! that senpai was part of the E4 when Aoki was a freshman. his senpai got assaulted and it left him traumatized

It had so much potential to be a good psychological bl manhwa. But sadly, the author rushed it because of financial/personal issues. Hopefully, the author will one day come back with a great story or maybe they can remake it as the author originally intended it to be.

The color palette theory makes complete sense. It’s been sticking out to me for awhile and you just helped me understand why!
Yes! The colour palette definitely gives it a darker tone. Just when Andrew accidentally cut himself. Every thought, he did that because he wanted Luke's attention. But it wasn't true. the author themselves clarified that it was an accident because he is clumsy, lol.
