Saw this on the otome Isekai reddit, was hella confused by the description and read it somewhere else some days ago.

It's a very good story, the system is teaching the ML to be a good guy to his wife and for the moment, he's clueless lol. He treats her with respect thinking she's someone else's wife (aka the dead puppy's wife) but it does hurt MC since she doesn't know it's a "different person with different memories".

Here's my theory: after drinking rat poison, his soul transferred to another world resembling earth, the system erased his memories, trained him to be a strong hunter with all sorts of skills and abilities (including cooking). And then he returned back to the dead body after trying to claim quest reward on earth. The puppy guy did say he would be reborn as a better person who would love MC.

If you completed reading the greatest real estate developer, this is similar to that.

So a very tiny omegaverse setting with MC emitting scents like that. Except there aren't any omegas, betas and alphas. And MC's family is the only one who can emit scents???

Or maybe I should throw away this angle of having that certain story trope and just read without overthinking...

Can't get over how the characters casually research goblin's phlegm for potions. Granted, there are worse "ingredients" in other mangas, manhwas, manhuas and irl, it still makes me gag.

Random fact: Apparently irl, musk is extracted from a deer's certain organs. So maybe the author is going for a similar approach for medicine in this story.

An original plot among the sea of overflowing isekais (I have nothing against isekais, I read them too).

Both the art and plot felt like time travel (unintended pun) because it feels like reading a webtoon from the early to mid 2010s.

There are so many great examples of healthy communications in this manga. The main characters openly admit their flaws, talk about their differences and accept. Reading this felt like getting some refreshing cool mint in my heart.

I love how in chapter 2, the curly haired guy looks at black hair's rambling passionately about his hobbies so genuinely warmly. This is how you know someone is so in love with you!

I love this! I wish I came across this manhwa later with 60+ chapters because it has good story development and progression.

Not a veteran gacha game player, but I do see a few references here and there. The guy going for a harem ending sure is one huge (and stinky) stereotypical reference. You can see the stark difference between Park Siwoo (OP guy) and the scammer like night and day. Though Siwoo is kinda sus but that's just mere paranoia.

One of the moments that pissed me off was how the audience in the story got mad at MC just because she donated to the orphanage for genuine cause since she's from there and wanted to support her family. They weren't even a toxic family and the system also penalized her by cutting down her meta points, that is very cruel.

Another interesting thing is how MC's position is relatable from a work perspective. For the sake of her own long term benefits, she has to "please the toxic boss/manager".

Since the system offered her the golden ticket of changing the entire plot with her points, I hope she steals the scammer's role and becomes the main protagonist heheheh.

All in all, better to let it marinate if you want to binge read and avoid cliff hangers.

Saw this on reddit, and a comment said ML has incel face. I don't know about that but I definitely would want to see that face twisted in agony, regret, pain and be in tears.

As for the ML, it could be that he has memories but a rewritten personality (like how Ainz rewrites Albedo's personality in the settings in the beginning)
