Honestly, is Yunoh wrong? Not really. All we see is abandonment issues and not really any like real genuine romantic interest. Not saying it’s Haewon’s fault, I’m definitely on his side here. But I do get Yunoh’s insecurity. But alsoooo, I’m tired because Yunoh is not doing any shit about it, not even attempting to change Haewon’s mind but still having the energy to whine and complain. Haewon is putting an effort for them to stay together and make him comfortable but I just don’t see the same effort from Yunoh. Damn, at least TRY to make him view you as a romantic prospect. The more you keep whining, the more he’ll write you off as a kid he needs to pacify than a man he can actually be with.
So I need to be spoiled, is Zhenya going to turn into a pathetic crying mess once Taekjoo leaves or is it gonna be like this for a while?

In the novel, after his loss; taekjoo makes a few more bets. By each bet, you can say zhenya warms up to taekjoo even buying kimchi for him, and offering anastasia to him (bc zhenya was in a 'sad' mood); eventually taekjoo wins through rock, paper, scissors and obvi wishes to leave the island but knowingg that bastard he obvi didn't let taekjoo go fast-forward a bit; zhenya's sister comes to 'visit' by helicopter and gets to know taekjoo and she feels bad that he's stuck with her brother. Whilst Olga is there (zhenya's sister) zhenya is pressured by his brother Bazim to hand over taekjoo and anastasia. While zhenya is out of the island to attend to work, an ambush happens on his island to get taekjoo, i believe this frustrates him and he asks taekjoo why he keeps running away and eventually tells taekjoo to "leave then" Zhenya tells his sister to leave the island and she unfortunately does. Taekjoo goes to 'help' her with her luggage and suddenly tells her that he owes her? He uses Olga as hostage and uses flammable medicine (i think) as the weapon (he also has a gun, meaning if he shoots the flammable liquid they all ) Zhenya obeys and says "Come here, taekjoo" taekjoo shakes his head and climbs the ladder with both olga and the weapons. They climb the ladder of the helicopter, zhenya forgets taekjoos warning and rushes towards them. Taekjoo throws the nuclear liquid; explosion occurs; zhenyas on the floor. He gets up but the helicopter has already flown away in distance. Since his helicopter was destroyed all he could do was stand there and yell "TAEKJOOOO" and i think he questions their time spent together and becomes sad and lonely once again...
TLDR; Next few chapters will probably be about the other bets taekjoo made with zhenya; eventually Zhenya's sister Olga comes to visit. After a while ust as Olga is about to leave the island; Taekjoo uses this opportunity to help her with her luggage while zhenya is downstairs and uses Olga (and liquids that could blow them up) as hostage to get on the helicopter. Zhenya tries to call Taekjoo bc he thought they had a bond but Taekjoo refuses; gets on; throws the nuclear liquid to stall; and runs away. Zhenya cries out for him in pain and ends up sad and lonely once again.
(Sorry if it's hard to understand, it's been a while since I read the novel...)
This is so interesting in a sense that I’m not really sure where the story is going with this, everyone is pretty straightforward and also understandable??? There are really no glaring red flags so far. MC and ML are both likable and 2nd ML is also okay so far. 10/10 would recommend, I hope this doesn’t take a drastic turn.

Woah I really see the defiant look in his eyes the king keeps talking about. Like he really gives off the aura that you could never truly break him.
