I mean, if you came here for romance, you should probably go. This seems more like a thriller with some queer elements but this is more of a battle of will and principle than anything else. The ML/villain’s goal is to completely crush the protagonist’s spirit, make him question if everyone (including himself) is a mere product of their nurture. MC has a very black and white view of life, he values honor and dignity above all else and the ML wants to see him destroyed for his own satisfaction, it kinda reminds me of shonen villains that randomly become obsessed with the protag because they are the antithesis of everything they stand for. Lol just add the fact that ML’s clearly also attracted to him sexually as well which is the bonus. They have completely opposing philosophies and neither back down so this is really fun.
