Honestly, I think if Mokyeon told Seonhwa that he fell for Nanjo during the threesomes, he would be like “Woah really, did not see that coming.” Everyone hates on Seonhwa way too much but he’s been nothing but chill and reasonable so far? Yeah he’s a golddigger but it’s not like he doesn’t know it. Everyone just hates him for being the 3rd party but it’s Mokyeon that made things complicated.
Some of y’all can’t handle morally complex characters that aren’t your definitions of “green flag” or whatever Tiktok crap there is so our literature is suffering because of it. Let Nanjo be a naive beautiful dumbass who probably has a major savior complex with probably a tragic backstory (I think) to back it up. Let Seonhwa be a gold digger who knows for a fact that Nanjo doesn’t love him seriously and has an endless stash of cash that he can take advantage of. THESE ARE CHARACTERS. Their only job is to appear as human as possible and be as interesting as they can be. We can like characters and not agree with their actions but enjoy their complexity.

But also, seme is deadly insecure of his hobbies so it’s understandable that he didn’t tell the uke up until now cause he was afraid to be judged. Now that it’s dawning on him that the uke might get what he wants, seme falls deeper for the uke, he can no longer imagine being abandoned.

The great thing about this manhwa is that we are completely in the position of Monkyeon right now, absolutely enchanted by Nanjo and also completely confused by his kindness and tolerance. It honestly feels like he doesn’t feel anything romantic for Monkyeon right now but also that he sorta pities him? This chapter ending was like a punch in the gut and a slap back to reality where you realize that “Oh, that’s right, our love for Nanjo is one sided and he is a very kind person, whose kindness and compassion can easily be mistaken for affection.” because he is still completely involved with Seonhwa. Just omg. So what do you guys think?

I think I’m the only one who viewed the piercing thing in a romantic way. I kinda interpreted it as Monkyeon wanting it for himself as some sort of proof to claim that he is Nanjo’s alone since he is probably gonna keep sleeping with Seonhwa to keep him away from Nanjo. Also, Nanjo gives Seonhwa a bunch of jewelry, like remember the watch, and Monkyeon doesn’t want to feel insecure about all that.
Now that we’ve reached the point that Monkyeon genuinely knows he’s in love, I’m gonna completely raise my standards of his behavior. This is how he treats a person he claims to love. He better treat Nanjo right. He’s no longer a passing fancy. This is now an active pursuit for a deeper relationship. I do NOT want any unnecessary perversions. DO WELL, MONKYEON. Nanjo is like I think just a genuinely kind person??? I think there really isn’t anything more to it. He’s polite, patient and sweet. Seonhwa nabbed a decent guy and proceeded to judge him for being too gentle. I really wish Monkyeon would do better as a partner, like actually prove that he deserves such a good person.
