Yes, there's a series of 5 prequel novels about Kyle/Nick called Eggs Benedict. Ash and Karlyle are introduced in it. The "first" bad meeting between Ash and Karlyle, that Karlye mentions at the beginning of DTR, is from those novels.

Yeah, I wish they would have done a prologue chapter with the relevant info from the prequel. Even after reading all the DTR novels, there was a lot that didn't make sense until I read Eggs Benedict.

Do you guys know how happy i am that the ML like instantly knows that he is the father and not go to like +10 more chapters of misunderstandings??? Bc istg i was sweating when she said "you're not the father" in that one chapter. Like thank god he at least knows that she's lying and that she needs time bc he realized that he was also the problem for her distrust in him. Like??? Its so so good.
Also i cried a bunch reading this. As a woman who does not want to have children and will probably not feel the same way as her around children, i feel genuinely happy for her. And let me just say this, i was so SO glad that the ML also seem to care a lot for their child. 10/10 story.

Yaaahhhh same here!!!!!! Like soohyun is not a typical blushy uke . Because even we can describe him as obsess to eunsung his composure is still there he may soften his expression now but his stoic expression is just cute. I really understand why eunsung became ao clingy and touchy with him .
i cant imagine a soohyun whos not obsessed with eunsung tbh. bro got a new job, dedicated every minute of his day and even risked his life for this one guy whom he had a crush on 10 yrs ago (and they didnt talk once) if he were to somehow move on hed probably feel pretty empty inside since he was thinking of eunsung every day most of his life

yeah the pedestal thing kinda pissed me off especially in that one scene when eunsung was opening up to him abt his insecurities and he basically went "no ur doing fine you cant be struggling with anything bc youre perfect" and then eunsung got mad at him
since he was already obsessed w him with barely any interaction i feel like he created a different version of eunsung in his head and still cant get over it. he def needs some therapy haha

I kinda think he’s like this because he internally hates himself as well, and he’s used being enabled by mc to act like this. Now MC feels uncomfortable because it’s toxic in a different way but he hasn’t realized why he feels he’s walking in eggshells. I do think both of them are probably better of separated than together. MC needs therapy I think to have a professional tell him this is unhealthy and ML needs serious help cause he might have psychotic tendencies that were undiagnosed
