Well, I think Mifune is a good guy... He tried to help in his own way. Like he doesn't know that Satoi is the girl, he just saw a cute girl & wants to know her. Not to mention that he doesn't want to make his friend uncomfortable by outing him, & instead wanted to ask the girl to back out of her relationship so that Satoi wouldn't get hurt from Inugami "cheating".
