It made me really sad that Kirino never got to live as the person he truly was but unfortunately that's the reality some people live, especially in conservative societies where family values come first and personal happiness last. I really thought they would end up together so this last chapter really threw me for a loop.
I'm confused about them talking about getting married in Chp 6, isn't gay marriage illegal in Japan? I think there are several city wards that will issue partnership certificates so is that what they're referencing?
That or they could be referring to adopting him so that they would be family. Here is a manga that mentions adopted marriages. http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ani_no_hanashi/mf/sa-c003/pg-7/
It doesn't actually say how closely related they are right? Just says he's a relative on his mothers side. For my piece of mind I'm just going to pretend they are distant cousins. (⊙…⊙ )
i kinda assumed they meant he was just a really close friend of his mother, like alot of parents tell their kids to call their close friends uncle or aunt, so i assumed it was a familiar relationship like that ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I love a more realistic bisexual awakening ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
