Been following this series way before it was uploaded on this site, still one of the best series which definitely deserves not only an animated adaptation but a life action one too. Add this to the list of series that stayed in hiatus for several years, the fans are strong and determined to so see a worthwhile ending
the author will never come back. the reason is dispute with her previous publisher. she can't continue this because she didn't have rights I think, she lost the battle.

You're wrong the author said in her weibo she's planning on continuing it after song of the sky walker. I also heard she's meant to get the rights to changgexin in 2025 so it makes sense why she's gonna finish that first.
