Teacher isnt interested in him at all romantically and is concerned at times about his wellbeing. Hes interested in her because she wasn't the common advisor he thought she was (hypocritical, and would sweep things under the rug in favor of his mother) and reminded of his favourite ballet teacher who his mother kicked out.
Tho whaddoweknow, the leads might romance each other after some time cuz story is still developing. But definitely not as problematic as those jap mangas that focus more on the romance between teacher and student....if ya know ya know.

Maybe they thought to change the scenario since there is a chance to do so,, Also because so many of these webtoons the fl always has to suffer mentally and physically, so rather than breaking them down and somehow romanticising the abuse they make her not actually not suffer through trauma(i did think she was gonna get kidnapped by those 2 older people in the carriage)
