This is the first time in my life ive seen that type of plot point (her being impregnated by a womans power) , i don't remember this in the novel spoiler forums so this took me out by surprise, anyone who wanted yuri route might be confused and rejoicing

This is very much paced like a manga. So many things are happening each chapter and theres little to no filler scenes, and sometimes feel overwhelming. But its not that cringey or bad of a plot, its just the direction and pacing thats making it off.
Yeah, the fast and furious pacing is the main reason why the story seems so wonky. It's a decent plot, but the pacing just kills it.
When they say theyll help your mom but you cant see her until you succeed,,, what makes you think they will follow the agreement but just to abandon her and pretend theyre helping her???you cant even see her condition nor can you trust them. For worse she might be dead when you succeed and then youre stuck as the heir.
Also how plot convenient that wolff heard about the mental hospital and the counts involvement, went there not knowing anything and was directed to the exact room her mom was staying. Its either lazy writing or they shaved off some scenes to get it over with
