I think he feels both ways. Sometimes (i mean its just recently) hes concerned about her dependency and being unstable, but yea he def enjoys this situation more compared to her back then.
Unless she really spirals down and gets as intense as he used to be, then maybe hed get seriously concerned.

he did have character development, now he can do his own thing, go wherever and not be anxious and super dependent on her presence. And his hostility did get lesser after he and his ex boy group teammates resolved the conflict,, and talked w his parents. He looks calmer in some sort.

He did try to leave her and leave the toxic relationship so they could heal and not fall into the obsession they have when he was in the hospital post s attempt, but she kept pulling him back. And he did come back.
