I saw a spoiler from days ago that he was not the real father of the fl. he's like the uncle of her, and her father was the brother of this man. I'm only summing this up, so the reason why this "dad" of hers is up on the north is for him to kill a dragon and offer it to someone in exchange of the cure for fl. Another reason as to why some people view him as a bad "father" was because he didn't want to get attached to her? knowing she's fragile and might d-e any minute? (sorry for the question marks, my memory a bit hazy lol but that's the gist of it) but he truly care for her that's why he went to slay a dragon for her cure.

I heard she is his sisters daughter born from a god or something close in nature to the being she met in that demension when she was trapped also her uncle saw her die again and again so being close to her so nothing to improve her condition only love but end in tragic death so he made a pact or sum to get the dragon smth as offering in exchange for the cure or so I read as spoiler sorry if Iām wrong

So far a good read but it's kinda unsettling since the mc has a striking similarity in appearance with the emperor, and the emperor's "nephew" might be the ml. They're basically cousins
She did say the emperor of the other country had black hair too so that could be her father instead. Lets hope thats the case

The FL and ML are not related at all no worries. It would have been too obvious.
The FL's biological father is the emperor of the enemy country. He is introduced very later in the story coz this is really a uncle-niece bonding story.
