Sexiling your own son, now that's a new low...
The story was okay, though I'd have loved for it to be at least R17 so we'd get to see some steam. What really annoyed me was the father's attitude thrughout the whole thing. He's so selfish, aggresive, and unsympathetic that it's really hard to like him. Not to mention how badly he treats his son most of the time (while taking care of some random guy that's his son's age wonderfully), and the way he disregards his desperates attempts to get closer... No wonder the kid grew up fighting his way through school, even if he was actually a pretty nice person. Well, at least he's not homophobic and hypocritical. Now that would've only been the cherry on top.
It would've been a very good story, if not for that shitty father. And if they focused a little bit more on the main couple, since everything seems rushed for them and we barely get to see any development once they start really dating. Such a shame.
I mean, he's a lab experiment, his voice has that weird mind-violating characteristic, and he DID fuck himself/his dog/his brother (3x1). If anyone could be a male capable of getting pregnant, even in canon, it would be Aoba... All I'm saying is that Koujaku'd better be putting on his condoms if he doesn't want them to be the ones that will be getting a shotgun wedding lmao

I mean, the route was cute and all (more so because we finally got to meet Sei and I absolutely adore him, Sei deserved better), but, man, it was WEIRD.
Yeah, almost as weird as having your umbilical cord be your hair that's connected to your twin brother's and that somehow has nerve endings that mysteriously die once your twin dies...
Okay, setting aside how everything is exciting (because we'd be here a while if we started with that), can we just talk about Izuku calling Todoroki by his first name?! What's up with that? Is it a mistake in translation or did it really happen? Because, for a Japanese person, that's a huge deal! Are we seeing a new best friend scenario here?!
Edit: nevermind, I found the raws and Izuku actually uses ショート (hero name) instead of 焦凍 (real name). Poor Deku must've felt awkward using "Shouto" without honorifics because it sounds like his first name. Pity, it would've been a great development to their friendship...
Not that I don't appreciate seeing what the league's been up to, and I know that this whole arc is necessary for the main plot, but I'm not here for them. I don't care about them and they actually bore me to death. This is boku no HERO academia, just bring back UA, and 1A, and the heroes. Fuck, even Endeavor's arc was better than sitting around and reading about Toga of all people.
Also, how many chapters has it been since we've seen Deku?! You know, the main character? The one that's supposed to become the number one hero? Yeah, that one.
They cut him out right after giving him five more quirks, like he wasn't already excesively OP and then just. Stopped. To focus on villains.
Horikoshi ffs, you can't just bring something like that into light and then ignore it for months. Not cool.
Okay this somehow turned into a saltfest without me noticing and I'm sorry for anyone who's read it until this point. I'm just really done with villain arcs and miss my heroes.
Lol likely the bird - Horikoshi is definitely drawing this arc out. I read the newest chapter and was like, “who even cares?? Go back to Dabi.” Seems like he wants to give ALL the villains backstories. Hopefully he finishes this arc up sooner I’m getting sick of it now that the more important villains have already been given a backstory. (All that’s left is Dabi...)

I love Yamamoto's art but, damn... her stories are so average and cliché. It's pure torture to read this kind of stories only because the art style is amazing...
I agree and disagree, even though I admit I'm not super fan of clichés, I still catch myself picking up something from Yamamoto after reading really dark stories (like when I read something from Harada and catch myself on the floor, traumatized) or when I'm stressed, the cliché and the cuteness calms me down
YK's stuff is worlds away from being average and cliche. and I'd say you owe the whole damn world of art an apology, especially YK
